Please post a comment here with your availability if you're interested in either the character creation session(s) or an introductory dungeon crawl. Also, if you're planning on participating in the character creation, please indicate if you'd like to give or receive help. The creation sit-down shouldn't take more than an hour or two, and the gaming sessions would likely run for 3-5 hours. I'm available all day Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Mondays I'm available around noon for the rest of the day, and Wednesdays from noon 'til seven. Saturdays before five are usually fine, but I almost always work Saturday nights and Sunday 'til five. Sundays after five are good. I do tend to work one other weekday evening shift (Tuesday or Friday usually), but that's flexible. I would like to help with character creation, and I plan on running an introductory dungeon crawl for new players after the character creation session. If you haven't already done so, I would recommend joining the MUN Geek Society RPG Group ( games.groups.yahoo.com/group/mungeeksocrpg/), as it will almost certainly be used as the primary mailing list once the crawl begins. Please indicate if you don't wish to join the group, and I will make sure you receive the necessary emails.

I'm ususally available any day of the week after 3pm, except Wednesdays. I don't mind Sunday evenings, either. I usually cram a lot on Sundays, but I don't think changing that would be too difficult a task.

Thursday evenings are bad for me. Other evenings and weekends are usually ok for the most part.
I can bring a phb and can help people with character creation, etc.

I'm glad this had gotten such a quick response. I think the only people who indicated interest in the prior post that we're missing a response from are Jennifer, torger, and manzer. If you guys could post your availability by, say, Saturday or Sunday, it'd make life easier for coming up with meeting times.

The only evening I'm not free is Wednesday, as I have night class.

That's excellent, because that's the plan - an initial run-through of "how to" for new players, then a simple dungeon crawl to introduce everyone to the game. Please see the other D&D thread in the Gaming forum for more info. Also, if you could post your availability in this post ASAP, we'll immediately determine a meeting time for the "how to"/character creation.
Just to summarize, it looks like Friday will work best for us, as no one has posted negatively about it. Except for newfie, Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday nights are also viable. The details for session times can be hashed out properly during our first get-together, though.
Also, mad props on the new sig, rahlious.

Last call - anyone else for DnD? Actually, if it's at all possible, we're going to avoid a "last call." As long as Matt's comfortable with the possibility of having to introduce incoming members to the basics (as we're still growing), I want to leave the D&D sub-section open to any interested parties.

Absolutely, Leslie. We'll leave no woman nor man behind! So long as the dungeon crawl has room (i.e. the party doesn't have 8-10 people), I'll always be open to adding players. As well, anyone who needs help or has questions after the "how-to" has only to ask, and we'll do what we can. If we get a lot of people who want to jump in and we can't accomodate them at the time, we can easily try to run a second dungeon crawl.
As per rahlious' post, though, I believe he meant last call before we sort out a schedule. I did say Saturday or Sunday at the latest, so he was just doing a bump on the post, really.
