Alright, it looks like we've got a good-sized group of people now: newfie, Leslie, willow, rahlious, Jennifer, hikoseijuro755, and I are all in the boat for at least the "how to" session, and most for the dungeon crawl. After analyzing everyone's availability, it seems to me that a Monday, Tuesday, Friday, or Sunday night would work best, preferably Friday for newfie. I think it might be a little too late in the week to assign it to this Friday.
Here's my suggestion: we hold the session next Monday or Friday night, starting at 6 or 7. newfie, please email me or post if you can make Monday; if not, we'll hold it Friday night. Anyone else, feel free to post/email me about non-availability on any of those nights; they should be open to everybody, but I understand that particular nights could be a problem.
As for meeting place, we could easily commandeer the room off of the Science Bldg. lobby that we used for gaming night in October. Or, if anyone is willing and has available space, we could crowd into someone's basement/dining room and work there. While I have a spacious basement, my brother is usually studying down there, so I wouldn't be able to host, unfortunately. But if anyone wants to, feel free to offer.
Sorry, this is taking so long to get set up, guys, but we should be on a roll now!
p.s. I'm also sending this to everyone via email.

Ya I don't think I can make Mondays just cause Monday nights don't work for me. I usually cant do much on weekdays due to the mass of homework. So if you guys wouldn't mind having it on Friday I'll be there. I also might have a friend or two coming so be prepared for some extra people

It may be best to steal that classroom in case we get some extras coming along. That way no one's house is overcome with a couple extra people. It's not horribly likely, but you never know. However, if someone wants to offer accommodations, that's cool too!
I can do any of those days. So, next Friday is fine for me if that's the plan.

Me and Adam won't be able to make it on the 10th, we're going to my Parent's for the weekend, leaving either that afternoon, or Thursday afternoon. I had forgotten all about that and even had a clever post all typed up until a lonely neuron fired up in the grey matter Sorry guys! If another date can't be figured go on without us So sorry I forgot about this! I really can't get out of it at this point either.

Aw, crap.
Changing the date again would set us back by another week, so I'd rather not, if possible. If you're available at over the next week or two, however, I'd gladly sit down with you to go over the basics one-on-one!

I wasn't aware of this until tonight, so I'd like to steal Adam or Jen's seat

Don't worry too much about room for the "how to" - a few more people won't make it much more difficult to go through the D&D basics. We'll concern ourselves with campaign "seats" after we see the turnout next Friday.
