First time on the board? Welcome! Here we have a collections of all the things you need to know before starting. As of now we don't have an official set of rules as we don't need them yet. Common sense should be all that's needed, but the mods do have final judgment. We've all discussed what will and will not be allowed but if you think you're post has been modified/deleted unfairly, PM another moderator (members>view staff members). Same with bannings. Don't do anything you wouldn't do in the mall (or some other public place) and we're set. For info on becoming a member, check here. For an explanation of the different boards check hereWe are also asking that everyone fill out this short survey. It's only one question and would help us a lot! EDIT! If you are a MUN student, please PM myself or Rebecca with your name and student number! We need 20 MUN students in order to become a recognized society. AS WELL Check out this form to opt-into the newsletter, and to let us know what you're looking for in the society! To keep up with events you can either check the calender on this site, vist mungeeksoc.blogspot.com, or check the "upcoming" thread in "important information".

Thanks for the link to the geek test on the page it was an interesting way to kill time between classes, just for the record the color of the text is the same as the color of the shirt I wore to winter-een-mas if you're trying to figure out who this is. We (myself and my cousin) were also told that we brought almost enough gear to start our own event which was a truly wonderful comment. I'm an extemely avid gamer and have been for over 15 years but this whole computer message thing or a having a pc at all is very new to me so I don't get the accronyms on the "First timers check here" page I only game on my pc and use the phone to converse so I will try to send an e-mail in the next few days, basiclly I'm a part time student this term with a sizable portion of free time so anything within my range of experience that I can assist with upon joining the society I will + I know a couple of Comp Science guys on campus who will love this society Thanks for the effort to get it off the ground bye bye.

Mod is moderator, which are the people who try to keep the board in order and enforce rules, etc. And PM is private message, which is something that registered board members can do to discuss things privately. This is the part where I encourage you to register on the message board, because we send update event schedules and stuff here. But, if you don't, that's fine. As we grow we will have to find other ways to communicate with members anyway. Anywho, if there's any more lingo that you don't understand, don't be afraid to ask someone to translate. Sometimes I don't get it either! Yay for your interest! ;D
